Reşad Hoca was born as one of 5 children of a mining family in a small town in Dinslaken. He played football in Germany U14 SC Wacker Dinslaken, U15-U19 VFB Lohberg, Rot-Weiss Selimiye Spor.
Later, in 2013-2014, he served as both a player and coach in the A2 team of Rot-Weiss Selimiye Spor. Then, with the rupture of cruciate ligaments, he was away from the field for a long time.
He was invited again as a Co-Trainer (second coach) in the STV Hünxe II team in the 2023-24 season and successfully finished that season as the "2023-24 Champion".
